Emily Keizer

An Oregonian since age six and a 2007 graduate of the University of Oregon, Ms. Keizer started as a 90by30 volunteer and joined the staff in 2015. As a volunteer, she enjoyed getting a taste of all of 90by30's various projects and is now excited to work on the organization''s communications. In her spare time, she is involved with several nonprofits and likes baking, reading, and second-hand shopping. She is excited about 90by30's focus on all of Lane County, as she has made it her 2017 goal to discover more of Oregon beyond Eugene.

Phyllis Barkhurst, Director of 90 by 30, led off the second North Lane strategic planning session on Feb. 18 by explaining how 90 by 30 plans to meet its goal of reducing child abuse and neglect in Lane County be 90% by the year 2030. She stressed that government agencies have worked for years to stop child abuse with not much success because they have focused on risk factors that are associated with child abuse and neglect.
