A Connected Child is a Protected Child

In her first Register Guard guest viewpoint for Child Abuse Prevention Month, 90by30 Director coins the brilliant (and accurate) phrase "A Connected Child is a Protected Child."

When children and young people have a group of caring and interested adults supporting them throughout their childhood, they are much less likely to suffer from abuse or neglect. Neglect and abuse flourish in isolation.
