Michelle Mauricci is originally from Reno, Nevada but considers herself a bonafide New Yorker after living in the West Village and Brooklyn for five years. Michelle has a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from the University of Nevada-Reno and is now pursuing a graduate degree in Prevention Science while working as a Research Assistant on CPAN's Oregon Child Abuse Prevention Study. She is passionate about reducing health disparities due to socio-economic status and fostering resilience in high-risk populations. She loves shopping and animals, especially big fluffy cats.
